For Christmas, Gretchen got me a book I'd never heard of: You Can Never Find a Rickshaw When it Monsoons by Mo Willems (which was recommended to her by, of all people, a librarian in Orange Beach, Alabama). The author, an artist, took a round-the-world trip after college and drew one sketch every day to capture that day's experience.
